You're invited to join Ezra Weinblatt on this exciting new journey as He launch Unleashed Group, his own real estate advisory, consulting, and brokerage firm. You might wonder, what's the point? Does the world need another real estate firm? Ezra can confidently say, absolutely. After nearly a decade each at boutique firms and a major commercial real estate powerhouse, He realize that there's a better way to serve clients.
A New Way to Serve Clients by Ezra
Ezra has seen firsthand how smaller firms often fall short providing the top-tier service and representation clients deserve too focused on getting a quick deal done. On the other hand, larger firms can over promise, dangling the glitz, and leave smaller clients feeling lost in the shuffle after the fancy sales pitch. There is a better way. His goal is to brings best-in-class ideas from his experience serving clients at both types of companies so that any sized organization gets the hands-on service that only a boutique firm can provide, with the top level analysis, deliverables and insights so the client is left with exceptional outcomes.
Experience Matters
Having worked with some of the brightest minds in the industry, Ezra honed the skills necessary to navigate complex real estate transactions and solve challenging problems. But beyond the mechanics of closing deals, he has learned that success isn’t just about the deal itself—it’s about building lasting relationships and fostering trust.
Embracing Empathy and Understanding
One of the biggest lessons he learned is the importance of empathy and understanding: "Be hard on the issue, soft on the person." Care is Unleashed Group’s first value. While Ezra Weinblatt has always been driven to achieve results, he came to realize that a more collaborative and respectful approach can often be more effective. By putting himself in the opposition's shoes and working towards a common goal, he finds success creating win-win outcomes.
Learning from the Past
Over two decades on the job, Ezra gained some wisdom — making mistakes and learning from them. Early on, he mistakenly believed that being rough, stern, and curt with his interlocutors was essential to communicating his client's position. He picked up a reputation for being aggressive and tough, something he initially took pride in bringing his Middle Eastern negotiating style - anchor, and walk out of the shop if your price isn't met - to the Washington DC commercial real estate, a market personified by Southern gentility.
Ezra's quick wit, jovial and playful nature persisted as his passion for connection resulted in many good relationships. At the same time the negotiating style ruffled some feathers and didn't work for everyone as he helped his clients achieve their objectives. While he was proud of consistently delivering concession packages that outpaced the market, he eventually realized that his approach was wearing people down. People who he would encounter again and again in future negotaitions.
Evolving Ezra's Approach
They say that all is fair in love and war - but as Ezra matured, he gained awareness that aggressive tactics work in the short term, they weren’t sustainable for his clients' long-term success. Thinking early in his career that "its just business" he did not appreciate how important understanding taking account of other peoples feelings are to a transaction. It so obvious now, and thankfully, friends were kind enough to offer the feedback. With that, he refined his approach and found the same, and sometimes, even greater success. Ezra came to embrace the concept of: "be hard on the problem, easy on the person". Rather than push without regard, he started working with others and communicated in ways that benefits everyone. The proverbial pie - grew.
By stepping into the opposition’s shoes and fostering collaboration, Ezra Weinblatt is achieving win-win outcomes more consistently.
